People are always curious about everything concerning celebrities, especially when they are leaders of a country. Are you curious about the vehicles that have been used by famous political leaders? Recently, in Moscow, the Federal Guard Service has unveiled the cars that have been used by Russian leaders across different periods of the country’s history at the Oldtimer Gallery exhibition. The exhibition which dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Special Purpose Garage features armored ZIL, Mercedes-Benz limousines, 1933 Lincoln, a 1935 Cadillac, a 1936 Buick and a 1935 Ford V8 and many other unique cars. The Oldtimer Gallery exhibition features about 70 cars used by Russian leaders over the past 90 years.
There were about 70 unique cars and special escort motorcycles in the exhibition. They had been used to carry and protect Soviet and Russian leaders across different periods of the country’s history.
Visitors have a chance to observe armored ZIL and Mercedes-Benz limousines, escort vehicles and motorcycleswhich were used to carry foreign leaders during their visits to Russia
The Oldtimer Gallery exhibition also displays a replica of the 1921 Rolls Royce which used to transport Vladimir Lenin
Besides, there were a 1933 Lincoln, a 1935 Cadillac, a 1936 Buick and a 1935 Ford V8 in the exhibition. These cars were used by security guards in the 1930s
The exhibition was opened to visitors from March 24 to 27, 2011 in an area of 3,500 square meters at the Crocus Expo Exhibition Center
These cars used to carry Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, Yury Andropov, Mikhail Gorbachev and other national leaders
